LaMichael James on the Run to Heisman

In honor of this week's election, I'd like to state that LaMichael James is the best candidate for the office of Heisman Trophy winner.

That goes against most current polls, which indicate Cam Newton will win unless somebody discovers he once dated Christine O'Donnell. If I were a political operative, I'd recommend the James campaign go negative.

Trot out a commercial showing Newton's five ridiculous interceptions. Have anonymous sources tell Politico that Newton's birth certificate is fake and he was really born in a Kenyan mosque.

Dig up his mugshot after being arrested for possession of stolen property. Re-enact the Gainesville police knocking on the door and Newton tossing a computer out the window.

The grim voiceover would ask, "If we can't trust this man not to buy a hot computer, can we trust him not to sell the Heisman?"
